I believe the complexity of challenges we are facing require us to instigate possibility and momentum by detaching from the bias and showing options with clarity and impartiality. In a time of ”fake news” and the absence of one truth, now more than ever are we required to look beyond believe and opinion towards a thinking and design that looks beyond the impermanence of our age.
Taking a broad view when problem-solving, I observe and judge what is going on in the team in a fair and logical manner. Preserving the eternal ‘why’ in our action. Moving slowly and analytically through the proces towards informed decisions. I look for strong theoretical understanding behind my work, including social and ethical considerations. Towards a level of thought that considers the lessons learned yesterday and transcends tomorrow.
